Understanding La Ilaha Illa Allah Beyond “There is no god but God”

The Unity of Existence

La ilaha—

There is no independent reality.

illa —

except.

Allah —

the Real alone.

Unity has not shattered into many.

The many

is how Unity speaks.

Liquid Language

Ocean. Rain. Tears.

Steam. River. Ice.

We rename it

every time it shifts shape.

But water has never stopped

being water.

One breath.

It becomes laughter. It becomes insult.

It becomes prayer. It becomes song.

The breath does not fragment.

The meanings do.

Electricity

In your house there is one current.

It cools the fridge.

It heats the iron.

It lights the bulb.

It powers the speaker.

Different functions.

One unseen flow.

Protons and electrons

The light does not argue with the fan

about who is more electric.

The Imaginal

This world is neither illusion

nor solid independence.

It is imaginal —

like a dream dreamed by the Real

that does not cease to be Real.

Forms are meaningful

yet they are not self-standing.

A rainbow is visible —

yet it owns no light.

Being

Before mountain and memory,

before angel and dust,

there is Being.

Not a thing among things —

but the fact that anything can appear at all.

Forms rise like patterns on water.

They shimmer.

They vanish.

Being does not rise.

Being does not vanish.

It remains —

lending itself to every shape

without becoming any of them.

The Prism

Multiplicity is movement

One sun.

White light looks plain.

Until it passes through blue curtain

and suddenly it becomes blue.

Through stained glass

it becomes cathedral.

Through dust

it becomes golden.

The sun has not multiplied.

The window only changed its appearance.

The colors were hidden inside the white.

The prism did not break the light.

It revealed its generosity.

Saying It Slowly

Say it slowly

until the world rearranges.

There is nothing but God.

Not to erase the world. Not to flatten the forest. Not to silence your ego.

But to see that every formborrows its existencethe way a wave borrows the ocean.

The wave is real. The ocean is more real.Unity is the body of water itself.

The Hidden Thread

Between birth and burial,

between seed and ash,

between silence and thunder

a single current hums.

You call it life.

You call it fate.

You call it time.

It answers to no name

yet carries them all.

The 99 Names

The 99 are not names of God.

They are angles of approach.

99 protons and electrons

we can pronounce.

The Merciful is a sunrise.

The Majestic is a storm.

The Giver is an open hand.

The Withholder is drought.

But the wind carries more

than the tongue can count.

One Reality.

Endless attributes.

An uncountable reflections.

The Return

Say: nothing exists but God.

Not to erase the world

but to see it correctly.

The names keep unfolding.

May the colors remain.

May the waves continue.

But beneath every form,

before every distinction,

after every ending

the light is still one.

There is no independent reality.

except the Real alone.

Closure

La Ilaha Illa Allahis not a slogan it is a discovery.

When a seeker truly arrives at it,something shifts inside.

A tremor passes through the chest. The soul feels an inward turning.

The self is shaken by a quiet quake. An ocean rises where certainty once lived.

La Ilaha Illa Allah

is the sound of that unveiling.

As reality merges with The Real.

Far beyond what lips alone can service.
